This 1680 is a well-preserved Submariner from 1978. With its MK 1 dial, it has distinctive features such as the closed 6s in “660ft=200m” and the “L” in Rolex which is centred under the middle of the Rolex coronet. This example has a wonderful golden lume with matching hands, which create contrast against the black dial, a must have for todays collectors.
This watch is fitted with a Rolex 91350 bracelet with 580 end links, stamped with a clasp code for 1983. It comes with a fitted Rolex U.S.A market box (no papers) and is in fantastic condition and ready to be worn.
