” This Zodiac is the same as the Heuer 2547SN and was made by Heuer but rebranded with Zodiac on the dial”
– Paul Maudsley
The Zodiac Ref: 2547 is a very complicated watch with a triple calendar chronograph, with the day and month, with a forth central red tipped crescent hand pointing to an outer calendar track on the dial displaying the date. Three subsidiary dials in black give a striking contrast making this the Panda ‘SN’ variant (meaning Silvered dial/Noir sub dials) which is one of the most desirable combinations in vintage chronographs.
This watch is powered by the high-quality Valjoux 72C, with the ‘C’ standing for calendar. It is a column-wheel movement and perhaps one of the most popular high-quality movements used in the 1960s powering watches such as the Heuer Carrera and Rolex Daytona.
The condition of the watch is very good with great definition to the case and a super crisp and clean dial with pumpkin colour lume plots and hands. The chronograph and calendar is functioning well and its ready to be enjoyed.
This watch is half the price of the exact same watch with Heuer printed on the dial. So offering the collector a fantastic watch for the money.
